“not to die in the attempt” this exhibition is the result of the residency “escritorio de procesos”, in mexicali, mexico. it was made in collaboration with emilia del valle. during this period, we created several exercises in relation with the desert and the state of emergency. starting from the idea that in this environment the sense of orientation is often lost and being the place very hostile, it is highly likely that we die trying to get out of it. emergency situations and acts were thought and executed, such as ways of communicating or trying to survive. then all this material was gathered and it was set up as a sort of expanded documentary of the experience.
