“re-habitar” is an installation created in collaboration with ana maría estrada zúñiga (CH). It was exhibited within the “recorridos sonoros” festival, in the convent of sant agustí, barcelona; in november of 2015
it was created with four emergency cardboard houses, in which there were speakers playing sounds of the environment in the areas where some homeless people slept at night along with interviews about their experiences living on the street. these tracks were recorded inside cardboard boxes with a stereo hd microphone (zoom h4n). then, we made a collage style composition of an urban soundscape and testimonials of experiences.
